Suggestions for Safe Recreational Play
    - Be respectful.  We may not all have the same levels of comfort when it comes to contact and social distancing.  Please listen to others concerns and work together to make sure we can all feel safe and respected.  Mistakes will be made.  Someone will very likely move towards you to chat and get too close.  Someone will pick up your boule, coch, or ring.  When someone mentions a personal discomfort or mistake you made, please understand the concern and try to resolve the issue nicely, patiently, and gently, realizing that with the stakes so high, we want to be as careful as we can and make everyone feel valued.
    - Have no more people on the piste than can be accommodated while maintaining 6 feet of distance between players at all times.
    - Maintain 3-4 meters between groups if there are more than one group playing.
    - If there are many games going on, consider the best way to use the space to maximize separation.
    - Draw circles with your feet, or have one person responsible for moving the circle at all times.
    - Use your own cochonet when it’s your turn to throw.
    - Start early in the day and wear a mask.  It gets very stuffy wearing a mask as the temperature rises.  In addition to the discomfort, it leads to heavier breathing which may expel more droplets or lead to inhaling droplets deeper into the lungs.
    - Move away from the group to cough, sneeze, or remove your mask to breathe for a bit.
    - Avoid touching your face.  Consider wearing thin, rubberized gardening gloves that keep the hands clean and can be removed easily if you need to touch your face with a clean hand.
    - Have hand sanitizer available for 1) the end of the play to clean your hands and boules, and 2) when you make a mistake and grab someone else’s equipment.
    - Bring your own snacks and water.
    - Do not spit.
